MCACH's mission with the summer arts camp is to make an affordable arts and humanities summer camp program available to Marion County students grades 3rd-8th. MCAHC has held the camp since 2006 at minimal cost to the students attending. Past classes have included music, dance, visual art, graphic arts, culinary, drama and writing. Since 2009, camp has also included free lunch, thanks to the free lunch program offered through the Marion County Extension Office. Other benefactors include the Family Resource Center, Community Education and donations from individuals and businesses throughout the local community.
